Your AI subscription
idles 8 hours a day
Claude meters usage in 5-hour windows, and the clock only starts on your first message of the day. You don't speak, it doesn't start — so the eight hours you spend asleep are billed but dead.
AI Wake is an alarm clock that wakes your AI first. By the time you open your eyes, the window is already running.

WHY IT WORKS
When does the clock actually start?
Same 24 hours. Same subscription fee. The only difference is who speaks first.
Start at 09:00 and you're waiting until 14:00 for the reset.
Say good morning at 06:00, start work at 09:00 anyway, and the reset lands at 11:00.
THE MATH
Why it's worth doing
This isn't a money-saving trick. It's collecting on what you already paid for.
COST OF SAYING HI
"Good morning" is about 10 tokens. A real vibe-coding session — where every turn re-sends the whole context — clears 3 million tokens without trying. Round it to zero.
SUBSCRIPTION VS API
Max costs $100/month. The same usage on API pricing: $30–50 a day is normal for someone writing code, so $750–1,250 a month. Subscriptions are so good that the 5-hour window is the only valve left.
ALL-DAY RELAY
If you work until midnight you only ever touch 3 windows a day. Relay them automatically and it's 4. A third more usable capacity, same monthly bill.
Dollar figures are ranges derived from public community measurements (e.g. ccusage) and list API pricing; your mileage depends on usage and plan. AI Wake does not — and cannot — raise the caps Anthropic gives you. It only changes when the window starts.
GETTING STARTED
Three steps, working by tomorrow morning
Set the alarm
Set your wake time like any alarm, then flip on "Wake Claude." Lead time is adjustable from 0.5 to 5 hours, per alarm.
Pick a wake method
Free iOS Shortcuts mode keeps your token on the phone, end to end. Or subscribe to the official cloud: the server sends it, so a locked, dead, or powered-off phone changes nothing — and you get all-day relay.
Go to sleep
It says good morning on schedule. Open the app when you wake up: window start, reset countdown, and how much waiting it saved you this month.
BEYOND THE ALARM
Not just an alarm clock
Waking up is the entry point. The real asset is the link between you and your AI subscription.
01Quota panel
Window start, reset countdown, windows used today. Turns the app from set-and-forget into a daily glance.
02Task-done push
Leave a long job running and walk away; your phone pings when it finishes. You wake the AI, the AI wakes you.
03Focus mode
Sunset timer: the sun sets while you focus, and crashes if you leave. Comes with a landscape bedside clock.
04Weekly window planner
Seven-day view with todos layered onto your quota windows — so you can see whether that day has room for the work.
05Shareable stickers
Token usage, model split, window counts, laid out as a card worth posting. For the timeline that gets it.
06Games for the wait
Hit the cap? Play a round of pixel logic puzzles. Auto-pauses the moment a task-done push arrives.
PRICING
Roughly a dollar a month
- First 2 weeks free, cancel anytime
- Server wakes you on time, year round
- All-day relay: windows never go dark
- Ops, monitoring, daily encrypted backups
Price will move to NT$90/mo later; early-bird subscribers keep the original rate per Apple's rules.
Core alarm features are free forever, and the backend is open source if you'd rather self-host.
SECURITY
Your token is treated like a password
HTTPS end to end, AES-256-GCM at rest, plaintext never written to disk, the wake process fully isolated from tooling, and a backend with zero third-party dependencies. Even the "here's what we do if something goes wrong" part is written down in advance.
Don't want a cloud in the loop? Use the free Shortcuts mode — the token never leaves your iPhone.
Starting tomorrow,
say good morning to Claude first.
